Payroll Assistant

£19,000 - £23,000 (pro-rata for part time) negotiable depending on experience. Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm full time. Part time working 22.5 hours per week – flexible days and hours.

What do you need as an experienced Payroll Assistant:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Payroll and Finance
  • You must be able to process payroll and resolving basic payroll queries
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organisational skills and accuracy coupled with attention to detail will be key
  • Used to working in a fast-paced working environment
  • Good time management, productivity, adaptability, and great listening skills would be a natural, for the ideal candidate

What the role involves:

  • Speaking to clients across the UK
  • Finance administration -regarding registering and onboarding of new clients, processing and checking information, processing self-employment and business registrations
  • Payroll administration -including timesheet analysis, payroll calculation and input to software, pension processing, liaising with clients, and dealing with payroll related queries
  • Ongoing book-keeping for clients including organisation of deadlines and workload, working closely with the whole accounts team
  • Build relationships with your bank of clients to ensure excellent customer service is given and always received
